Clearfield debuts Minnesota fiber extrusion line to boost domestic production
Clearfield welcomed a diverse group of customers, industry experts, media representatives, and distribution partners to its Fiber to the Future event.
Attendees witnessed the launch of Minnesota's first fiber extrusion line and explored the current state of fiber infrastructure. The company emphasized how U.S. manufacturing can accelerate the future development and deployment of fiber technology.
Clearfield has previously called for broader fiber deployment to improve community broadband and give customers more options, citing recent research in an earlier report. In a separate case, Clearfield technology helped CCT and BVI Cable TV reduce network deployment times by half during post-hurricane reconstruction in the British Virgin Islands, according to company data. These activities highlight the company's continued efforts to expand fiber access and streamline network installation.
