D-Wave Quantum Inc. annealing computers power real world research at Los Alamos National Lab

An interdisciplinary team comprised of theoretical physicists, experimental physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians is leveraging D-Wave Quantum Inc.’s technology to address complex scientific challenges with practical, impactful applications. The collaboration signals a step forward in applying quantum computing to real world scientific domains.
D-Wave Quantum Inc. recently began deploying its Advantage2 quantum computer at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus, according to a previous announcement. The company has also discussed quantum computing applications in robotics in a new episode of its Quantum Matters podcast. These developments highlight D-Wave’s ongoing efforts to expand the adoption of its quantum technologies across academic and scientific sectors.
