SpaceX advances Starship launch prep

SpaceX has moved its Starship and Super Heavy V3 vehicles to the launch pad at Starbase, marking a significant step toward final testing and launch preparations.

The development signals that SpaceX is advancing towards a major test of its next-generation launch system. Starship and Super Heavy represent the company’s ambitions for deep space missions and heavy-lift capabilities.

Earlier this year, SpaceX completed a full launch countdown rehearsal by loading more than 5,000 tonnes of fuel onto its stacked Starship and Super Heavy V3 vehicles at Starbase, according to a previous update. The company recently targeted a Falcon 9 launch of its Dragon resupply mission to the Space Station, which faced challenging conditions with only a 10 percent favorable weather forecast, as reported in a separate briefing. Both efforts are part of SpaceX’s ongoing campaign to support space infrastructure and test next-generation systems.
