Heidrick & Struggles International turns to high-stakes leadership simulations to expose executive strengths and weaknesses
Heidrick embraces immersive leadership tests

Heidrick & Struggles International has launched an initiative using immersive, high-stakes simulations to assess leaders under pressure. According to Bryan Power of Atomic Machines, these simulations can identify strengths and gaps in leadership that traditional assessments often overlook.

The move aims to provide organizations with a more nuanced and authentic understanding of executive capabilities by observing real-time responses in simulated crisis scenarios. Heidrick Immersive is now being positioned as a next-generation tool for corporate leadership evaluation and development.

The initiative comes as Heidrick & Struggles International reports a surge in demand for interim talent as urgent hiring reshapes business needs, according to a recent analysis published by the firm. The company also said interim leader demand jumped 151 percent since 2021 with human capital expertise up 129 percent. These trends reflect intensifying focus on leadership capabilities in a rapidly changing corporate environment.
