Clearfield CCO sees fiber industry optimism rising as challenges loom
The fiber industry is experiencing a renewed sense of optimism, according to Clearfield CCO Anis Khemakhem.
Speaking at Fiber Connect alongside NextGenInfra_io, Khemakhem outlined the positive sentiment driving the sector and discussed strategies for staying ahead of emerging challenges. Topics ranged from the impact of infrastructure investments to the integration of artificial intelligence and new funding programs such as BEAD, signaling an evolving competitive landscape for fiber network deployment.
Clearfield has previously reported growing fiber demand in broadband and data centers driven by artificial intelligence, creating new workforce and supply chain pressures, according to a recent update from the company. At FiberConnect, Clearfield also introduced its FiberFirst pedestals and NOVA Platform, aiming to support high-density data connections with new broadband infrastructure products. The company’s recent strategies continue to address ongoing demands and challenges in fiber deployment.
