Humacyte reveals vascular study progress

Humacyte is set to present interim results from its women-only study on arteriovenous (AV) access. The forum will address clear unmet needs in AV access for women, a segment often underrepresented in clinical research.

The Women in Vascular Surgery Forum, sponsored by Humacyte, is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Industry leaders in vascular innovation are expected to outline recent advancements and share findings relevant to improving vascular access outcomes for women.

Earlier this year, Humacyte received a contract from U.S. Veterans Affairs to expand access to its Symvess acellular tissue engineered vessel for patients in the VA system under a new agreement. The company also shared findings on its engineered vessel performance for dialysis access at the VASA conference in a recent data presentation. These developments highlight the company's ongoing efforts to advance vascular access solutions.
