Penguin Solutions, Inc. has partnered with Sandia National Laboratories and NextSilicon to deliver the Spectra supercomputer, which is positioned as a pivotal platform for evaluating the future of supercomputing hardware.

Following the system's full acceptance of requirements, the collaboration incorporates NextSilicon’s Maverick-2 processor, signaling advancements in computational capabilities. The initiative aims to set a new benchmark in performance and innovation, supporting research and development for the next generation of high-performance computing systems.

Penguin Solutions, Inc. recently launched CXL 3.0 with expanded memory bandwidth to address increasing AI inference demands. The company has also flagged growing data management challenges linked to remote wind farm operations.
