FA is trading above its MA-20 ($16.15), MA-50 ($14.75), and MA-200 ($13.69), signaling bullish momentum across short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes. The Ichimoku Kijun at $15.89 sits below the last price and acts as immediate support, with near-term support at MA-20 ($16.15) and Kijun ($15.89), and key support at MA-50 ($14.75); resistance levels cluster at MA-5 ($16.25) and shift to $17.07 (today's intraday high) as near-term, and MA-100 ($12.96, not actionable) as key resistance.
Momentum remains positive, with MACD on D1 at "Strong Buy" and ADX at 27.47 also confirming buy signals, despite overbought readings from CCI and BBP. RSI on D1 reads 60.25, indicating bullish strength but not extreme overbought, while Stoch RSI is neutral at 57.30. BBP signals persistent buyer pressure, while AO is neutral, adding limited directional bias. FA has risen $0.46 (3.33%) over the past week from a prev_week_close of $16.07, placing the price in the middle of the weekly range. Weekly volatility stands at 9.17%, and the tone suggests consolidation after a recovery from the weekly low. In today's session, FA is slipping 1.15%, marking some short-term profit-taking after previous gains.
For the coming week, FA is projected to trade between $16.87 and $17.29, a corridor slightly above the current price and well within the 52-week range of $8.82 to $18.55. Based on W1 indicators—RSI ("Buy"), ADX ("Buy"), MACD ("Buy"), and MA-50 ("Buy")—the probability of a further price increase is very high (more than 80%), making a decline less likely. The baseline scenario sees FA consolidating between $16.87 and $17.29. A bullish breakout above $17.29 could attract new buyers toward the upper end of this range. Conversely, a move below $16.87 would expose the stock to a retest of immediate support near the Kijun and MA-20.
Previously it was reported that First Advantage maintained a broadly bullish technical outlook, with momentum indicators supporting further upside potential. In light of recent developments, traders should monitor for any sustained shifts in momentum that could signal a transition from the prevailing uptrend scenario.
