Rocket Lab stock opened the session with a gap up from the previous close at $80.25 to $81.23. The price is displaying a split daily structure, holding below the MA-50 while staying above the MA-20 and MA-200. The nearest resistance is the weekly high at $84.21, and with Stoch RSI in overbought territory, further upside is limited for now.
Traders should watch whether shares manage to close above $84.21 to confirm buyers are willing to maintain upward momentum. The move began with an opening gap from $80.25 to $81.23, highlighting early strength. Even so, from here the upside probability stands at 55% with a downside probability of 45% for the coming trading week, and an expected trading range of $78.16 to $85.99. A drop below $78.48 would show the move is being faded. On the weekly chart the longer-term picture stays firmly constructive.
Previously it was reported that Rocket Lab secured a significant contract to supply a geosynchronous satellite bus for Viasat under the PTS-G program, positioning the company for continued growth through new government and commercial agreements. The successful deployment of advanced spacecraft platforms for MDA Space now broadens Rocket Lab’s operational track record, with traders advised to monitor the $84.21 resistance as the next key test for ongoing price strength.
