Pacific Biosciences of California launches rapid end-to-end genomic sequencing solution
PacBio unveils rapid genomic workflow

Pacific Biosciences of California has introduced a rapid, end-to-end HiFi whole genome sequencing (WGS) workflow that delivers genome-wide variant calls in less than 30 hours.

The new solution is designed to accelerate time-critical genomic research by providing researchers with comprehensive data on structural variants, repeat expansions, and phased haplotypes. The company is also providing immediate access to a resource bundle to support adoption of the new workflow.

Pacific Biosciences of California has recently analyzed variant calling and phasing by comparing Illumina TruPath with PacBio HiFi WGS using the HG002 benchmark, according to a company review. The company has also contributed to advances in T2T genomics, with a Cell special issue highlighting 13 new complete genome assemblies. These efforts reflect continued development of Pacific Biosciences’ sequencing technologies.
