Ledger starts bug disclosure alliance

Ledger has initiated an industry-wide commitment to coordinated vulnerability disclosure, collaborating with Trezor, Foundation, AnchorWatch, and other key players in the crypto ecosystem. The move formalizes a process where vulnerabilities are privately reported, fixed, and only then made public.

This commitment aims to set a standard for responsible vulnerability management within the crypto hardware and software industry, strengthening user security across participating companies.

Ledger recently launched the Nano Gen5 wallet upgrade, offering enhanced features for users transitioning from previous models. The company also introduced an AI Security Roadmap centered on hardware-based approval to address rogue agent threats. These initiatives reflect Ledger’s ongoing focus on strengthening hardware wallet security.
