Onespan sees 60 percent drop in resets

Onespan reports that one organization reduced its password reset requests by 60 percent within three months after adopting passkeys.

This transition not only lessened the support burden but also streamlined authentication processes for users. The company highlights the potential benefits of passkey adoption for simplifying security management.

Onespan’s CTO has previously called on banks to move away from shared secret authentication in favor of phishing-resistant passkeys to strengthen security. In a separate initiative, the company introduced risk-based eSignature assurance to tailor digital agreement verification to transaction risk. These efforts highlight Onespan’s ongoing focus on aligning security measures with enterprise needs.
