DeepOriginBio partnership accelerates BioAge Labs progress on human aging drug discovery
BioAge Labs moves to hit-to-lead

BioAge Labs has moved a new target for human aging from initial data to promising chemical matter within a matter of months.

The company, collaborating with DeepOriginBio, has now validated the initial hits in the laboratory and is proceeding into the hit-to-lead optimization phase. BioAge Labs also signaled intent to expand its efforts in this research domain.

Earlier this year, BioAge Labs presented research indicating that oral NLRP3 inhibition may reverse age-related deficits in mice at a leading science meeting, according to company disclosures. The findings marked a step in BioAge's approach to addressing aging through molecular interventions. The new hit-to-lead program builds on this sequence of preclinical advances.
