BioAge Labs has presented new research at the Mechanisms of Aging meeting at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, revealing findings on oral NLRP3 inhibition in aged mice. The company highlighted results indicating that such inhibition can restore deficits in motility, metabolism, and social behaviors associated with aging in rodent models.
The work, led by BioAge scientists Shijun Yan and Andrew Banicki, points to NLRP3 as a critical driver of age-related decline and offers potential avenues for therapeutic development targeting age-related disorders.
