Strategic cooperation between AMD and Meta has been furthered. According to the company’s statement, the first AMD Helios servers have been installed and are currently undergoing testing at Meta’s facilities. EPYC chips are responsible for running the Muse AI agent, whereas Instinct accelerators are responsible for training models and recommendation engines.

AMD also entered into a wider partnership with Oracle. The new OCI Compute E7 cloud instances will be equipped with sixth-generation EPYC processors, while AMD Pensando technology will be used by Oracle Acceleron for networking.

A break above $560 could open the way toward $600

As noted previously, AMD stock was trading below $560, which kept the technical structure bearish. The price came close to the $500 target, reaching a low of $502.60.

The stock has since staged a noticeable recovery toward resistance at $560. That level will be the main focus today. If AMD can hold above it, the next target would be the $585–600 liquidity zone. This remains the base-case scenario.

A move back below $560 would invalidate the setup. Losing that level would shift attention to the next support area around $527.

Fed decision and November 3 earnings raise volatility risks

Today’s Federal Reserve decision could have a significant impact on AMD later in the regular trading session. Markets expect interest rates to remain unchanged.

AMD’s upcoming quarterly report on November 3 adds another layer of uncertainty. As the earnings date approaches, risks for short-term traders are likely to increase, particularly for positions held overnight.

Even if the positive momentum continues, volatility could still rise sharply into the report.
