Pacific Biosciences unveils Kinnex kits

Pacific Biosciences of California has launched new Kinnex prep kits for RNA sequencing, allowing up to 8 to 10 samples on a single Revio SMRT Cell when using the 12-fold kit and 6 samples with the 8-fold kit combined with 0.9x cDNA cleanup.

The company states that the library preparation process takes approximately 1.5 days for up to 12 libraries, aiming to improve laboratory throughput for RNA sequencing workflows. The kits are now available for order.

Pacific Biosciences of California recently launched its Vega SPRQ-Nx system to make HiFi sequencing more accessible for biopharma research, according to a previous announcement. The company also provided sequencing technology to a global undiagnosed disease hackathon held in Singapore, as reported earlier this year. These efforts reflect the company's ongoing focus on advancing sequencing capabilities in research and clinical settings.
