ESET expands B2B AI security offering with new module for enterprise platform
As companies widen their use of AI tools, coding assistants and autonomous agents, cybersecurity vendors are adapting products to address a fast-growing attack surface. ESET is adding new business-focused capabilities to its PROTECT platform, alongside a broader push to strengthen AI-based detection and incident response tools.
Highlights
- ESET expanded its B2B portfolio by adding an AI Security module to the ESET PROTECT Platform, targeting threats in organizational AI ecosystems.
- The updated B2B offering is supported by a planned additional 40 million euro investment in AI in 2026 to enhance customer resilience against AI-driven risks.
- ESET is reinforcing core AI detection with ESET LiveCortex and has renamed ESET AI Advisor to ESET LiveAI, reflecting upgraded remediation capabilities.
New protections for AI agents
As reported by BusinessWorld Online, ESET is refining its B2B portfolio by adding an AI Security module to the ESET PROTECT Platform, aimed at helping organizations manage threats across the AI ecosystem. The new features include AI Agent Security, a dedicated layer intended to protect organizations using autonomous AI agents from malicious AI components, and AI Behavioral Monitoring, which continuously tracks agent behavior to detect and flag suspicious actions before they develop into security incidents.
ESET said the expansion responds to changes in the threat environment as employees adopt AI tools, developers use coding assistants and companies integrate AI agents and AI-driven workflows into operations. The company said its researchers have already identified AI-enabled threats such as PromptLock and PromptSpy, while also detecting thousands of malicious agentic AI skills.
Investment plan and regional business impact
Parvinder Walia, President of the APAC Region at ESET, said organizations across APAC are seeking security tools that can keep pace with rapid AI adoption while allowing them to use new technologies with greater confidence. He said the updated B2B portfolio is backed by an additional 40 million euro investment in AI in 2026, reflecting ESET's effort to strengthen customer resilience against emerging AI-driven risks. The company is also reinforcing its core AI detection technologies with security-first AI foundations built for cybersecurity. These include ESET LiveCortex, a cross-perimeter correlation and response engine included in the ESET PROTECT Platform.
ESET is also renaming ESET AI Advisor to ESET LiveAI, a change the company said better reflects the tool's position in its core product portfolio and its added capability to provide live incident remediation context.
Our earlier article on Cohere’s planned acquisition of AI cybersecurity startup AISLE highlighted how the deal would add AI-driven software vulnerability detection to Cohere’s broader enterprise AI push alongside its tie-up with Aleph Alpha. We noted that AISLE’s technology was positioned to strengthen threat detection for enterprise and public-sector clients, supported by its research track record and an engineering base in Prague to expand European reach.
