Ouster has announced that SafeHaus is leveraging its lidar technology to create real-time 3D maps for large-scale event sites. This deployment enables event organizers to monitor attendee density down to the square meter, helping maintain smooth crowd movement and improve safety during high-attendance periods such as Halloweekend.

The collaboration highlights a practical application of Ouster lidar technology beyond traditional uses, expanding its presence in dynamic, real-world environments where safety and operational efficiency are essential.

Ouster has previously partnered with Gangneung City to demo live lidar-powered intersection safety at the ITS World Congress in South Korea. The company has also launched an SDK feature to streamline lidar data export for GIS and point cloud applications. These developments highlight Ouster's focus on enhancing lidar integration across multiple sectors.
