Binance Wallet offers zero-fee crypto swaps to retail traders
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has launched a six-month zero-fee swap promotion for users of its Binance Wallet (formerly Binance Web3 Wallet) in an effort to attract retail traders.
In a March 17 announcement, Binance stated that the offer applies only to swaps made through the integrated swap and bridge features of Binance Wallet or quick purchases via Binance Alpha. Binance Alpha is a feature within Binance Wallet that offers tokens that may be considered for future listing on Binance.
Exclusive for Binance users
Binance clarified that transactions "conducted through third-party dApps are not eligible." While Binance is waiving its own trading fees, retail traders may still need to pay network gas fees.
"During the promotion period, trading fees for all swaps are waived. However, users will still be required to pay network gas fees", - indicated in the message.
To qualify, users must trade using a keyless backup address within Binance Wallet. This means they must complete the backup process and cannot use imported wallets with manually entered private keys or seed phrases.
As we wrote, Binance has unveiled a new limited-time promotion that offers eligible users a chance to share a dynamic prize pool of up to $500,000 in USDT token vouchers.
