Ondo Finance expands tokenized asset lineup with BlackRock’s IBIT and Galaxy Digital — Ondo Finance strengthens its position in tokenized assets market

Blockchain platform Ondo Finance has expanded its tokenized securities offering, adding more than 60 new stocks and ETFs, including BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Galaxy Digital (GLXY).

Among the new assets are also Solana ETFs, as well as shares of companies such as IonQ, Rocket Lab and GE Vernova. The platform announced the update on its X account.

With the new additions, the total number of available assets on the platform has exceeded 250, traded across Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain networks.

RWA growth and institutional interest

The expansion comes amid growing demand for tokenized real-world assets (RWA), particularly from institutional investors. According to RWAxyz, the total value of assets on Ondo Finance is approaching $2.6 billion, including tokenized U.S. Treasuries, equities and commodities.

Interest in the segment has increased following the SEC’s approval of initiatives related to tokenized securities trading, providing greater regulatory clarity for the market.

What it means for the market

Tokenization allows investors to access traditional financial instruments on-chain with near-instant settlement, fractional ownership and the potential for 24/7 trading. Despite positive trends, the platform’s native token ONDO remains under pressure, declining by more than 1% over the past day amid broader weakness in the crypto market.

Earlier, Ondo Finance also announced the acquisition of Oasis Pro, an SEC-regulated broker-dealer platform.
