Maple (SYRUP) surged 11.74% after the protocol's recent expansion saw syrupUSDG launched across Robinhood Chain and Ethereum, powering new integrations with Robinhood’s Earn yield platform and fresh onchain credit utility. The advance shows short-term upside, but remains limited by the coin’s position below the 50- and 200-day moving averages and overbought technical readings.

  • Recent launch of syrupUSDG on Robinhood Chain and Ethereum enhances Maple’s protocol revenue and integration with large fintech platforms.

Protocol revenue outlook strengthens as syrupUSDG adoption drives mainstream integration

Maple, the onchain asset management protocol behind the SYRUP token and syrupUSDG asset, achieved all-time highs with more than $2 billion in active loans and $5 billion in assets under management. The launch of syrupUSDG on both the Robinhood Chain and Ethereum recently enabled support for Robinhood’s new Earn yield product, with Steakhouse Financial approving syrupUSDG as collateral within its vault. These developments further embed the token at the core of Maple’s protocol revenue model and deepen its integration with mainstream fintech platforms.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, sees the SYRUP rally as technically fragile. The token’s recent gains are constrained beneath key 50- and 200-day moving averages, indicating heavy overhead supply. Overbought momentum readings paired with a modest positive Bull/Bear Power signal a risk of exhaustion. Kharitonov is wary of the gap up and ongoing volatility, as historical resistance levels remain unbroken. He concludes, "I do not see sustained upside until the technical backdrop shifts decisively, and recommend strict risk controls for now."

Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, highlights Maple's expanding fundamental base. He notes the integration with Robinhood and Steakhouse Financial as a strong catalyst for ongoing adoption and institutional credibility. Karapetjanc emphasizes that the protocol’s $5 billion in AUM and all-time high loan book signal robust growth. He remains positive on further mainstream partnerships fueling upside potential. "With deeper fintech integration and new yield products, the bullish structure remains intact for SYRUP," he affirms.

Short-term strength persists as mixed momentum meets overbought risk at resistance

SYRUP/USD is trading above its 20-day moving average at $0.1371, but remains below the 50-day at $0.1597 and the 200-day at $0.2453, highlighting short-term strength amid ongoing pressure from longer-term sellers. Immediate levels to watch are the intraday near-term ceiling at $0.1527 and floor at $0.1493, with broader trend alignment still bearish by MA-50 versus MA-200. On the momentum front, the MACD points to persistent downside bias, but the ADX signals strengthening upward momentum. The RSI and CCI both indicate the asset is nearing or in overbought territory, while the Stochastic RSI confirms overbought conditions. Bull/Bear Power is positive at 0.014, confirming buyers are dominant intraday, and the overbought readings create a growing exhaustion risk. The gap opened to the upside by around 9.9% ($0.0135), and volatility is contained at 2.28%. Price action is near the daily high, reflecting ongoing intraday strength, though momentum indicators show an active tug-of-war between buyers and signals of potential reversal.

Earlier, analysts noted that Maple had shifted from a bearish to a more bullish technical setup as buyers regained control. The current context strengthens this outlook by highlighting new protocol integrations and expanding utility, but with overbought signals and resistance from longer-term moving averages, traders should monitor for exhaustion as SYRUP tests the upper edge of its recent volatility band.
