Solana price faces sharp move as volatility hits record low
Solana continues to record high network activity, but declining stablecoin liquidity is limiting the price recovery. Record-low volatility signals that a strong move may be approaching.
Despite SOL’s weak price action, Solana’s on-chain activity remains high. Over the past 24 hours, the network processed approximately 90 million transactions across 2.36 million active addresses. Daily DEX trading volume reached $1.48 billion, while seven-day volume totalled $10.11 billion.
Meanwhile, the market capitalization of stablecoins on Solana declined by 4.36% over the week to $15.75 billion. This points to a partial liquidity outflow and explains why strong user activity has not yet produced a sustained price recovery.

Failure to reclaim the 50-day SMA puts $70 in focus
As noted earlier, SOL’s failure to reclaim the 50-day SMA near $75 significantly increases the probability of a continued correction towards the psychological $70 support level. The $76–76.50 zone remains the key resistance, with a local descending trendline also passing through this area.
SOL’s 30-day volatility also requires close attention. It has fallen to 1.94%, the lowest level on record. This compression increases the probability of a strong directional move in the near term.
Strong network activity fails to attract fresh liquidity
High network activity confirms continued interest in the Solana ecosystem. However, the decline in stablecoin market capitalization indicates a lack of fresh liquidity, meaning the fundamental conditions for a sustained recovery are not yet in place.Record-low volatility increases the probability of a sharp move, making leveraged positions particularly risky.
