Cardano tests key support as DeFi activity remains subdued
Cardano continues to hold support at $0.181 despite weak trading activity and the absence of meaningful capital inflows into the ecosystem. Holding this level keeps the possibility of a rebound toward $0.194 alive, but ADA still needs an ecosystem-specific fundamental catalyst to support a more sustained recovery.
According to DeFiLlama, Cardano’s TVL stands at roughly $67 million, while stablecoin market capitalization is around $67.12 million, up 4.6% over the past week.
Trading activity, however, remains limited. Cardano’s 24-hour DEX volume is roughly $719,500, pointing to relatively subdued activity across the ecosystem. Net capital inflows over the past 24 hours also remain close to zero.

Holding $0.181 keeps the rebound scenario alive
The previously identified support at $0.181 continues to hold, gradually increasing the probability of a technical rebound. This remains the key level to watch over the next several days.A decisive break and sustained move below $0.181 would shift the short-term balance in favor of sellers and open the way toward the 50-day SMA near $0.172.
If buyers continue to defend $0.181, however, the probability of a recovery toward the next important level at $0.194 would increase.
ADA still needs a stronger ecosystem catalyst
Despite the latest fundamental development within the ecosystem, ADA remains heavily dependent on the broader direction of the crypto market, particularly Bitcoin. A sharp BTC correction could quickly increase pressure on Cardano, even if $0.181 initially holds. For ADA to establish a more independent and sustainable recovery, it will need a stronger fundamental catalyst originating directly from within the ecosystem.
