The first exchange-traded fund tied to Tron and offering staking rewards on TRX will begin trading in the U.S. on Wednesday. The new product will give investors exposure to the token through the traditional stock market.
The Canary Staked TRX ETF will trade under the ticker TRXS. Tron founder Justin Sun said the fund’s launch reflects the network’s growing recognition as an important piece of infrastructure for the digital economy.

According to Sun, the ETF also gives institutional investors access to a blockchain network that is already widely used for real-world financial activity.
The market capitalization of TRX stands at about $32.1 billion, making it the eighth-largest cryptocurrency. One of the fund’s key features is the ability to generate additional returns through Tron’s proof-of-stake mechanism. Staking rewards will be reflected in the ETF’s net asset value.
The Tron network is widely used for stablecoin transfers due to its relatively low fees and fast transaction speeds.
Canary Capital CEO Steven McClurg said Tron’s importance is growing alongside the global adoption of stablecoins. According to him, investors are increasingly looking not only at digital assets themselves but also at the blockchain networks that support their real-world use in payments and settlement.
Just a few years ago, U.S. exchange-traded funds mainly provided direct exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum. The range has since expanded significantly, with spot ETFs already trading for Solana, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Hedera, Avalanche, Chainlink and Polkadot.
The list continued to grow in 2026. Funds tied to Sui, Hyperliquid and BNB entered the market, while some products based on proof-of-stake blockchains also allow investors to earn staking rewards. The launch of the Tron ETF continues this trend, as asset managers gradually bring products linked to a broader range of crypto assets to traditional financial markets.
Tron, meanwhile, has high expectations for the launch of the ETF.
