Revenue jump and product launches drive platform sector leadership

Hyperliquid reported annualized revenue of $1.31 billion, driven by platform fees and increased USDC liquidity that support its token burn and buyback program. The platform led the perpetual trading sector with $240 billion in 30-day volume and introduced new borrowing and lending functionality, with $269 million borrowed at launch. Additional drivers include new regulatory initiatives in the US and Europe, such as plans for CFTC-regulated perpetual futures and the listing of a Hyperliquid ETP, along with the launch of a staking ETF and ongoing institutional attention.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, views HYPE's rally as driven by impressive revenue data and recent product launches. He points out that, despite bullish signals above all major moving averages, the surge appears overextended with volatility spiking. Kharitonov also warns that overbought momentum and narrow technical support at $85.28 suggest downside risk if sentiment shifts or borrow/lending metrics underperform. He remains cautious, noting that new regulatory moves and high borrowing volume could evaporate under adverse market conditions. "Upside is possible, but I would not ignore the elevated risk of short-term corrections below $85.28 if market enthusiasm falters," says Kharitonov.
Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, sees further opportunity for HYPE given its robust revenue results and record-breaking trading volume. He highlights strong institutional interest, new regulatory pathways, and the debut of staking and lending products as catalysts. The bullish structure remains intact, reinforcing the upside probability signaled by technical momentum and positive sentiment around buybacks. "With institutional engagement growing and the market structure clearly bullish, HYPE looks positioned for further growth above $91.98 in the coming days," Karapetjanc affirms.
Parshwa Turakhiya, analyst, notes that HYPE's gap-up open and close near daily highs reflect strong short-term sentiment. He sees sustained strength above the 20-day moving average and robust intraday buyer activity, but warns immediate resistance at $91.98 could trigger profit-taking. Volatility creates tactical trading setups between $83.75 and $95.92 for nimble traders. "If momentum persists and price clears $91.98, bulls could quickly test the higher range — otherwise, a retracement to $85.28 remains in play," Turakhiya suggests.

Buyer dominance sustained as price holds above bullish thresholds

HYPE/USD is trading above its 20-, 50-, and 200-day moving averages ($82.21, $70.84, $55.92), confirming a bullish alignment for short-, medium-, and long-term trends. The immediate resistance level is $91.98 and support is at $85.28, defined by the current session's extremes. Sustained strength above the moving averages and the Ichimoku Kijun ($82.41) below price reinforce the positive trend. Momentum indicators remain bullish: MACD and ADX signal further upside, RSI stands at 55.45 with a buy bias, while Stochastic RSI and CCI are neutral. Bull/Bear Power is positive at 2.89, showing buyers dominate intraday action, though it points to overbought conditions. HYPE added $9.49 since the last close, opened with a gap up, and is trading near the daily high amid elevated volatility.

Earlier, analysts noted that Hyperliquid's bullish momentum was supported by regulatory advancements and rising institutional engagement. The latest surge in trading and expansion of platform features further strengthen this outlook, with traders advised to monitor the $91.98 resistance as a potential catalyst for additional upside.
