Bitget Wallet adds tokenized U.S. stock trading for 100 million users
Trade tokenized U.S. stocks

Bitget Wallet is expanding its push into everyday onchain finance by adding direct access to more than 1,700 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs through an integration with Reality. The rollout lets users trade the assets from a self-custodial wallet on Arbitrum and Morph, while keeping crypto funds onchain and retaining custody.

Highlights

  • Bitget Wallet integrated Reality, enabling its 100 million users to trade over 1,700 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs directly onchain.
  • Reality's rTokens, backed 1:1 by U.S. shares at Alpaca Securities, cover 95% of U.S. market volume and settle orders using Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity.
  • The self-custodial setup enables direct stablecoin dividend payments and supports DeFi use cases, broadening tokenized equity utility beyond passive exposure.

Reality integration expands onchain equity access

As reported by The Block, Bitget Wallet has integrated Reality, a regulated tokenized asset issuance protocol, to let its global user base trade tokenized U.S. equities directly from the wallet. The company says the setup removes the need for users to move funds off-chain, open a foreign brokerage account, or give up control of their assets.

Reality joins Ondo and xStocks inside Bitget Wallet, broadening the range of tokenized U.S. equities available through a self-custodial product. The initial launch is live on Arbitrum and Morph.

Reality's rTokens provide exposure to more than 1,700 U.S. stocks and ETFs, which the company says cover 95% of total U.S. market trading volume. Each token is backed 1:1 by underlying U.S. shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer, with reserves independently attested each day by a third-party CPA firm.

During U.S. market hours, Reality routes orders to underlying Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity instead of relying only on isolated onchain liquidity pools or synthetic pricing. Available assets include rNVDA, rTSLA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rSPY and rQQQ.

DeFi utility and market implications

Beyond trading access, the structure is designed to extend the use of tokenized equities across onchain applications. Eligible dividends are paid directly to users' wallets in stablecoins, while corporate actions such as stock splits are reflected automatically.

The assets are also built to be DeFi-composable, allowing supported holdings to be used in functions such as collateral and other decentralized finance protocols. That widens their role from passive market exposure to assets that can circulate inside broader crypto financial activity.

Bitget Wallet says it plans to keep expanding asset coverage and deepen protocol integrations as demand for tokenized assets grows across its global user base. rTokens are now available through the Bitget Wallet app.

In our earlier report on record S&P 500 and Nasdaq-linked positioning, we highlighted how options traders were turning more bullish even as market breadth stayed narrow. We also noted heightened upside bets in vehicles like SPY and QQQ and in major tech and chip names, suggesting expectations for further gains despite a rally led by a relatively small group of stocks.
