Blockchain.com targets IPO by end of 2026 at up to $6 billion valuation
Blockchain.com eyes 2026 IPO

After a subdued period for cryptocurrency listings in 2026, Blockchain.com is aiming to go public by the end of the year at a valuation of $4 billion to $6 billion. The London-based company is also seeking to raise about $500 million as improving crypto market conditions revive issuance plans.

Highlights

  • Blockchain.com is preparing for an IPO by the end of 2026, targeting a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion.
  • The company has already confidentially filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, allowing early-stage IPO preparation while keeping financials private.
  • Improved digital asset market conditions in recent months may boost crypto IPO activity, following a subdued 2026 and notable listings like Circle and Bullish in 2025.

Listing plans and fundraising target

As first reported by CoinDesk, citing Bloomberg, Blockchain.com has held discussions with prospective investors about an initial public offering that could value the company at between $4 billion and $6 billion. The company confidentially files with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this year, beginning the review process before publicly releasing detailed financial information tied to the listing.

Blockchain.com offers exchange, wallet, trading and lending services from its London base. A confidential filing allows it to advance IPO preparations while keeping key financial disclosures private until later stages of the process.

Crypto IPO market shows signs of reopening

This year remains relatively quiet for crypto IPOs after weaker digital asset markets in the first half of 2026 lead some companies to delay listing plans. Market conditions have improved over the past couple of months, potentially giving firms more confidence to revisit fundraising and public market ambitions.

The slower 2026 pipeline follows several prominent crypto-related listings in 2025, including stablecoin issuer Circle, exchange operator Gemini Space Station and CoinDesk parent Bullish. Blockchain.com did not respond to a request for comment.
