EasyA targets direct listing as valuation reaches $1.1 billion
EasyA eyes direct listing

Crypto and AI infrastructure companies are moving closer to public markets as investors look beyond tokens and foundation models for exposure to sector growth. EasyA says it is preparing a direct listing in the first half of 2027 after reaching a $1.1 billion valuation based on audited financials, operating performance and growth prospects.

Highlights

  • EasyA submitted a draft registration to the SEC for a direct public listing at a $1.1 billion independent valuation after completing two years of audits.
  • EasyA's platform, with over 1.3 million users, partners with Ripple and Solana to provide blockchain and AI application development tools and education.
  • The listing will test market appetite for crypto and AI infrastructure firms, as EasyA explores tokenized shares and expands into tokenization and AI agent projects via EasyA Labs.

Listing plan and valuation process

As reported by CoinDesk, EasyA is preparing a direct public listing that would allow existing shareholders to sell stock without the company raising new capital through a traditional IPO. The company has already submitted a draft registration to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and completed two years of audits by accounting firm PDF.

The platform, founded by brothers Philip and Dominic Kwok, says the independent $1.1 billion valuation reflects audited financial statements, operating performance, growth plans and comparisons with publicly traded companies. Chief executive Philip Kwok says the figure is required as part of the direct listing process, though it does not determine the price investors will ultimately pay once the shares begin trading.

Developer platform strategy and market implications

EasyA operates a platform focused on helping users build blockchain and artificial intelligence applications, and it says its app has more than 1.3 million users. The company works with firms including Ripple and Solana to introduce their technology to developers through educational programs and hackathons.

The planned listing is set to test public investor demand for companies that sell infrastructure and services to the crypto and AI sectors rather than direct exposure to cryptocurrencies or AI models. EasyA is also exploring tokenized versions of its shares, with co-founder and chief operating officer Dominic Kwok saying that option is on the roadmap, although the company has not disclosed how such shares would be issued or traded.

Beyond its core app, the company is expanding through EasyA Labs, which is developing tokenization projects and applications involving AI agents. That broader push could widen its business beyond developer education and place it more directly in emerging digital asset and AI service markets.

Venture-backed startup valuations have been climbing rapidly in 2026, with September adding 38 new unicorns and about $71 billion in value to the global roster. Our earlier coverage highlighted especially sharp valuation gains in AI software, data centers, and other digital-infrastructure businesses, pointing to sustained investor appetite for companies building the backbone of emerging tech sectors.
