  • The regulatory step supports institutional involvement and compliance, but Injective remains under broad selling pressure.
  • Technical indicators confirm strong downside momentum for INJ/USD, with projected trading between $6.92 to $8.17 and stronger probability of further declines.

Regulatory approval boosts outlook as selling pressure persists

Injective has been officially registered as a transfer agent with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to FXStreet. This regulatory approval enables Injective to directly manage asset transfers within its ecosystem, supporting potential institutional engagement and streamlining compliance processes. While this marked a significant step in improving the protocol's regulatory positioning, price action has remained under broader selling pressure.

Active downside momentum confirmed as technicals hit oversold levels

On the technical front, INJ/USD is currently trading below the MA-20 at $8 and the MA-50 at $7.86 on the hourly chart, both of which signal active downside momentum in the short to medium term. However, the price remains above the MA-200 on the daily chart at $5.04, providing a buffer of long-term support. The Ichimoku Kijun level at $8.02 acts as immediate resistance just above the current spot. RSI is at 37.24, continuing to indicate oversold territory, with MACD and ADX both aligned with ongoing selling pressure. Bull/Bear Power readings also confirm a seller-dominated intraday environment. Despite CCI and Stoch RSI both in oversold zones—implying stretched downward momentum—there is not yet evidence of a reversal, and the Awesome Oscillator maintains a sell bias.

Sideways move favored as volatility bands define risks

Looking ahead to the next one to two trading days, INJ/USD is expected to fluctuate within a band from $6.92 to $8.17. The probability of a move higher is estimated at 27%, while a further decline is more likely at 73%. Baseline expectations are for sideways trading inside this volatility band. Upside scenarios would require a breakout above the $8.02 resistance, while a breach below the $6.92 support zone could trigger additional selling.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, notes that Injective’s recent SEC transfer agent registration is a meaningful regulatory milestone but has not provided any immediate price support. He observes that technicals are decisively bearish, with momentum indicators and moving averages reinforcing a negative short-term outlook. Support at the MA-200 remains, but heavy selling pressure dominates intraday action. "Until INJ/USD reclaims the $8.02 resistance, the risk remains skewed to the downside and I remain defensive."

Earlier, analysts noted that Injective’s SEC registration as a transfer agent and enhanced real-world asset capabilities provided a bullish backdrop, supported by a technically strong setup and enterprise partnerships. However, the current break below short- and medium-term moving averages signals a shift in momentum, with traders now advised to monitor the $6.92 support as the key downside risk in the near term.
