Highlights

  • IMX/USD trades below all key daily moving averages, indicating persistent selling pressure across all timeframes.
  • Bearish momentum dominates with strong sell signals from MACD, ADX, and oscillators, confirming growing weakness.
  • Forecast five-day range is $0.1093 to $0.1282 with over 80% probability of a further downward move.
Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, notes that IMX is under sustained selling pressure. He sees a clear lack of positive catalysts and persistent weakness across trend indicators. The absence of supportive news or fundamentals deepens risk for bulls. Technical and sentiment gauges both signal sellers are firmly in control. "It is hard to justify any new long exposure here as downside momentum remains decisive and unopposed," Kharitonov warns.
Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, acknowledges the recent decline but keeps focus on future opportunities. He views the lower price band as an active zone that could present entry points for buyers once momentum shifts. Despite the lack of fresh news, Karapetjanc remains constructive on the market’s ability to digest current volatility. "I believe the current setup may offer new setups for those watching support and waiting for trend confirmation," he says.
Jainam Mehta, market strategist, observes that IMX is trapped below major moving averages with intraday sellers dominant. He notes the oversold Stochastic RSI could soon trigger a short-term bounce attempt, though risks remain elevated if the $0.1093 floor is broken. Mehta comments, "If we see divergence between price action and momentum indicators near support, tactical contrarian trades may become viable soon."

Bearish momentum prevails amid layered resistance and oversold signals

IMX/USD remains below all key daily moving averages, with the current price of $0.1191 under the MA-20 ($0.1568), MA-50 ($0.156), and MA-200 ($0.1451). This setup signals continued pressure from sellers across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons, with the Ichimoku Kijun at $0.171 acting as distant resistance and the immediate trading corridor defined by a near-term ceiling of $0.1275 and floor at $0.1093. Momentum signals are decisively bearish. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Average Directional Index (ADX) both forecast selling pressure. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 35.5671 and Commodity Channel Index (CCI) at -88.9432 point toward downside and growing weakness. The Stochastic RSI reading of 3.4192 signals oversold conditions. Bull/Bear Power (BBP) at -0.0047 confirms sellers dominate intraday action; this is reinforced by the Awesome Oscillator (AO) also indicating sell pressure. IMX/USD is down $0.015 or 11.19% today, opening with a downside gap of about 3.8% and trading mid-range within a volatile 20.90% session. The intraday tone remains pressured following a weak open.

Earlier, analysts noted that Immutable X remained under sustained bearish pressure, with technical signals and sellers firmly in control. The current analysis reinforces this downside bias, highlighting the importance of monitoring support at $0.1093 as a potential trigger for further declines in the coming days.
