Coinbase International Exchange, a division of Coinbase Global, has announced support for Cardano, Chainlink, Dogecoin, and Stellar perpetual future contracts on Coinbase.

According to details posted on the Coinbase International Exchange's X (Twitter) page, the ADA-PERP, LINK-PERP, DOGE-PERP and XLM-PERP markets are expected to open on November 30, 2023 at 13:00 CET.

The exchange's decision to list these cryptocurrencies is in line with their position and popularity in the digital asset ecosystem. Each of these altcoins occupies a unique niche in the crypto market. Cardano is in the spotlight for its continued development and innovative advancements, while Chainlink has solidified its position as the industry's leading Oracle service provider. The inclusion of Dogecoin and Stellar reflects their unique appeal and loyal user bases, the factors that are critical to Coinbase's strategic asset selection process.

Trading of the aforementioned pairs will launch on Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced, CoinGape reported.

Coinbase International Exchange provides access to futures trading for users outside of the U.S. and was created in contrast to offshore exchanges such as Binance and Bybit. At the same time, the creation of Coinbase International Exchange is Coinbase's response to the complex and sometimes unclear U.S. regulatory environment, which is critical to shaping the U.S. exchange's business strategies.

In addition to BTC and ETH futures, Coinbase International Exchange also supports XRP futures, following Judge Analisa Torres' July 13 ruling that allowed the digital currency to gain status as the only altcoin that cannot be classified as an investment contract in the United States.

Overall, Coinbase International Exchange's decision to list these four new digital currencies is a testament to its ongoing efforts to serve a diverse and global client base. By adapting to the regulatory environment and capitalizing on the unique value propositions of various cryptocurrencies, the exchange aims to strengthen its position as a leading player in the digital currency exchange space.
