AI could improve DeFi safety

Alex Svanevik questioned the ability of humans to make decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols truly safe.

He suggested that artificial intelligence might be better suited to building and securing DeFi systems. His comments reflect ongoing concerns about security challenges within DeFi.

Svanevik has previously pointed to shifts in DeFi and blockchain adoption. He noted Nansen's SOL staking increase from 60,000 to 2,500,000 units over 18 months in partnership with StakeWithUs, according to recent company data. In an earlier forecast, Svanevik said that centralized exchanges could disappear by 2030 as blockchain technology improves.
