Noah Smith: American Airlines should be absorbed by rivals as its time is over — Smith urges end to American Airlines

Noah Smith has voiced a strong opinion that American Airlines should cease to exist as an independent company. He argues that the airline is the least desirable in the U.S. market and its ongoing operation puts financial strain on healthier competitors such as United, Delta, and Southwest.

Smith suggests that it would be better for American Airlines to be absorbed by one of these rival carriers, stating that its era has ended.
