Samson Mow: Africa led bitcoin medium of exchange adoption before U.S. merchants expansion
Samson Mow, industry influencer, highlights that long before 4.1 million U.S. merchants began accepting Bitcoin's Lightning Network payments this year, Africa had demonstrated the effectiveness of Bitcoin as a medium of exchange for day-to-day transactions.
According to Mow, a substantial portion of bitcoin transactions in Africa are for smaller amounts, reflecting the region's earlier embrace of cryptocurrency for practical, everyday uses.
