Stacy Herbert: Bitcoin mining infrastructure provided foundation for AI development
Stacy Herbert, manager of El Salvador's Bitcoin Office at Bitcoin Office, El Salvador, points out that the infrastructure created by Bitcoin miners over the past decade has served a broader purpose beyond cryptocurrency mining.
Herbert notes that investments in substations, cooling arrays, and high voltage lines established the physical foundation that is now supporting the rise of artificial intelligence.
Herbert previously commented on El Salvador's educational initiatives around cryptocurrency. The country introduced an upgraded Bitcoin Diploma after working with weSpark_io and CUBO+. The program aims to expand Bitcoin knowledge in the region.
