Meta moves into stablecoins and global accounts, Simon Taylor notes
Meta enters stablecoins, Lightspark launches grid accounts

Simon Taylor, co-founder at 11:FS, highlights recent advances in stablecoins by Meta as well as Lightspark's announcement of grid global accounts.

Taylor announced that David Marcus, former CEO of PayPal, will be the featured guest on Monday to discuss the journey from Libra to Meta’s current efforts with stablecoins and the evolution toward agentic commerce.

Taylor has previously observed that Coinbase began offering yield-bearing stablecoins without causing a shift in deposits. In a separate update, he reported that Plaid reached $500 million in annual recurring revenue with new products driving strong growth. These industry milestones have contributed to ongoing discussions on innovation in digital finance.
