But we saved everything 🙂.
Zach Rynes, industry influencer, reports that LayerZero Labs' centralized infrastructure was compromised by hackers linked to North Korea (DPRK), resulting in the $292 million rsETH bridge exploit.
Rynes further comments that instead of providing more transparency on the incident, Bryan—presumably a LayerZero representative—chose to shift blame onto users again.
Rynes previously raised concerns about the LayerZero exploit linked to North Korean hackers, questioning how access was gained to core node and RPC servers in the $290 million incident. In a separate analysis, ChainlinkGod noted that Chainlink CCIP processed more than $5 billion in token transfers over the last 90 days. The incident comes as cross-chain protocols face heightened scrutiny over infrastructure vulnerabilities.
