Matt Wallace, industry influencer, reports that a new investigation has uncovered highly concentrated profit distribution on the Kalshi platform.
According to Wallace, 67% of all profits were claimed by just 0.1% of accounts, with fewer than 1,000 top accounts pocketing nearly $500 million. In contrast, regular Americans lost millions, despite assurances from Kalshi that everyone had a fair shot on the platform.
Wallace has previously questioned why 90 million Americans face limited investment choices compared to wealthier investors. In a separate update, he covered X's launch of a cashtag feature supporting Solana addresses for users on the platform. His reporting has frequently focused on access and distribution in financial markets.
