Layah Heilpern: Wall Street bottom calls questioned as bitcoin struggles with 80k
Skepticism as bitcoin fails at 80k

Layah Heilpern, owner and host of The Layah Heilpern Show, questioned recent optimism around the end of the crypto bear market.

Heilpern noted that while Tom Lee claims the downturn is over, repeated declarations by Wall Street about finding a market bottom make her more skeptical. She emphasized that bitcoin has continued to struggle holding the 80k level and concluded the bottom has not yet arrived.

Heilpern has previously warned against chasing short-term rallies, advising caution during periods of strong optimism in the crypto markets. She also suggested that markets may be overestimating the likelihood of rapid U.S. rate cuts, citing ongoing inflation and high oil prices in an earlier commentary. Her recent remarks continue a pattern of skepticism toward bullish market sentiment.
