Vitalik Buterin: Kohaku aims to advance security and privacy on Ethereum
Kohaku project targets Ethereum privacy

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder at Ethereum, highlighted ongoing efforts by teams including @kassandraETH and @ncsgy to develop Kohaku, a project focused on enhancing security and privacy at the access layer on Ethereum.

According to Vitalik Buterin, Kohaku is designed to make both security (with trustlessness) and privacy for reading and writing transactions standard features on the network.

Buterin has previously discussed the importance of decentralized oracles for prediction markets and called for advances in private attester voting in a recent commentary. He also donated 64 ETH to the Animal Welfare Fund, supporting efforts to alleviate the suffering of non-human animals, according to a separate report. Both moves highlight his ongoing engagement with privacy, trust, and social responsibility initiatives.
