Ursula von der Leyen congratulated Ukraine's parliament and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team for their rapid work in ratifying the main documents related to the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan.

This action enables the first disbursements of funds to take place in June.

Von der Leyen has emphasized EU financial initiatives in recent statements. She said the EU Chips Act has generated over €32 billion in semiconductor investments. More investments are anticipated under the same program.
