Early market session includes 20 names, Larry Tabb notes — Initial options market session covers 20 names

Larry Tabb highlights that the upcoming market session extension for options will initially feature only 20 names. The morning session is set to run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m., with trading continuing for 15 minutes after the close, up to 4:15 p.m.

Tabb adds that, while more securities will be added over time, expanding trading past 4:15 p.m. is expected to be challenging.
