Emerging markets lead Bitcoin adoption growth, Richard Teng notes
Bitcoin adoption led by emerging markets

Richard Teng, CEO at Binance, points to increasing Bitcoin adoption across the Global South.

He highlights that, according to Binance user data, year-over-year BTC holder growth is notable in APAC (31%), MENA (26%), and Latin America (29%). Teng adds that emerging markets are leading this trend.

Teng recently expressed gratitude for user trust in Binance and affirmed the exchange’s commitment to long-term development in a previous statement. Binance leadership has also been highlighted, with CEO Richard Teng applauding Yi’s inclusion on Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Business list as a milestone for the company and the sector, according to a separate announcement. These developments come as Teng champions growth in emerging markets.
