Anndy Lian: Bitcoin drops 6.09 percent as risk-off drives institutional outflows
Bitcoin down 6% as institutions exit

Anndy Lian reports that Bitcoin fell 6.09 percent to $66,867.60 over a 24-hour period, underperforming the broader crypto market which declined by 5.39 percent.

According to Lian, the sharp drop is linked to aggressive risk-off sentiment, with institutional capital moving out of digital assets and into traditional artificial intelligence sectors.

Lian previously reported a 0.62 percent decline in total crypto market capitalization to $2.54 trillion as institutional outflows continued earlier this week. He had also observed that while equities hit record highs, cryptocurrencies came under pressure in the same period amid improved global risk sentiment. These trends highlight persistent challenges for digital assets since late May.
