Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, highlights the rapid growth of space-focused exchange-traded funds.
Balchunas points out that as many as two dozen space-themed ETFs could soon be available, supported by a competitive atmosphere around tickers such as UFO, NASA, WARP, LOFF, ROKT, MARS, DIPR, and JEDI. He also notes prominent firms like BlackRock are entering the sector, which includes modern defense and drone investments.
Balchunas has previously compared Bitcoin's recent decline to the historic taper tantrum reaction after Saylor's sale, as reported earlier this year. He also recently noted that VOO became the first ETF to surpass $1 trillion in assets, up from $660 billion in just 12 months, according to Bloomberg data. These developments come as Balchunas continues to track trends and records in the ETF market.
