Amit Kukreja: S&P added $8 trillion market cap in best quarter since 2020
S&P adds $8 trillion market cap in Q2

Amit Kukreja, stock market analyst, highlights recent developments in the U.S. stock market. In the second quarter, the S&P gained $8 trillion in market cap and rose by 14 percent, making it the best quarter since 2020.

Three new companies joined the $1 trillion market cap club, all from the memory sector, and the largest IPO in history was recorded with SPCX. Oil prices also decreased significantly, falling from $120 to $70.

Kukreja previously selected twelve stocks, including NVDA, AMD, and GOOGL, to be held until June 2027 in a draft shared earlier this year. He also reported on a session when the S&P fell around 1.5 percent and South Korea's KOSPI dropped 9.9 percent on tax concerns in a recent market downturn.
