Legal contest begins in Satoshi coin case, Alex Thorn notes
Respondent joins Satoshi coin ownership case

Alex Thorn reports that an individual identified as a real human being has filed a notice of appearance in the ongoing abandoned property litigation, where the entity known as ‘Noah Doe’ is asserting title over Satoshi’s coins.

According to Thorn, this new participant is stepping up as a respondent to challenge Noah Doe, moving beyond the role of filing an amicus brief.

Thorn has previously reported on 2011 coins linked to a New York state lost-and-found case becoming active onchain. In a separate note, he compared BTCUSD value in real versus nominal dollars using historical price data. These prior developments provide context for the ongoing litigation over dormant early bitcoin holdings.
