Metaplanet adds $170 million Bitcoin

Jordan Kerridge reports that Metaplanet has purchased an additional 2,823 Bitcoin, valued at around $170 million.

With this latest acquisition, Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings have reached 43,000 BTC, amounting to approximately $2.58 billion. Kerridge observes that while much of the market debates Bitcoin's short-term direction, major corporate holders continue to accumulate.

Kerridge has previously reported on long-term investment returns in major companies. He noted that a $1,000 Tesla investment from 2011 is now worth $380,000 after 15 years, according to a recent article. In a separate piece, he highlighted that a $10.41 investment in IBM shares from 1932 would now exceed $1 million, as detailed in his IBM coverage.
