Crypto spot trading volumes drop sharply, Frank Chaparro notes
Crypto spot volumes down 80 percent

Frank Chaparro reports that crypto spot trading volumes continue to stagnate, with the 7-day moving average now at $21.4 billion. This represents a sharp decline of nearly 80 percent from the $104.3 billion peak reached in October 2025.

Chaparro also cautions that ongoing ambivalence poses a significant challenge for the crypto market at the moment.

Chaparro previously reported that Bernstein revised its $150,000 year-end Bitcoin target to a more cautious stance following a market correction. In another update, he covered the appointment of Sonali Theisen to lead Bank of America's global digital assets platform. Theisen’s role focuses on blockchain, tokenized deposits, and stablecoins.
