Samson Mow, chief executive officer at JAN3, raises concerns about a potential new vulnerability in the Bitcoin network related to BIP110.
According to Mow, supporters of BIP110 are pioneering what he describes as a '1% attack', in which attackers could rent just 1% of the hashrate and deploy 3,000 nodes to disrupt the network. He suggests that this method could demonstrate how easy it can be to attack Bitcoin and cause widespread disruption and wasted time.
Mow has previously questioned the stability of USD Coin and CRCL, highlighting Coinbase's key role in supporting USDC. He has also indicated that STRC holders could potentially see returns from yield and capital gains. These comments reflect his ongoing analysis of risks and returns across digital asset networks.
